i don't know if i got the job. okay, so it's only been 20 minutes since the interview, but you can sometimes get a feel for how things are going and i thought i felt the mood change when my interviewer asked me if i had other pans in the fire - you know, other applications i'm waiting to hear from - and i said yes, that there were a couple of others.
- bam!* - and the blast visor came down over her eyes: "okay, are there any questions you had for me before we get to checking your references?"
and i didn't have any: "none that i can think of."
(* imagine emeril standing just in the corner of the shot doing the catherine zeta-jones t-mobile commercial-interrupt-thing)
