yeah, the death of johnny this morning only makes concrete and resolute in my generally all-too pliant personal sense of conviction that i will never join one of those "death pools" where people create a list of famous individuals, betting that one of them will kick-off within a year. i just can't handle the loss of one of my few true heroes. and the sorrow i feel is not even close to that felt by those who actually knew him.
so, i just can't put money on the life and peace of anyone else. it just strikes me as callous and sick.
