4. what person from your past would you most like to run into and visit with for an afternoon? why them? what person would you like to not ever see again as long as you live? how come?
my father, because 1) he's dead and 2) as far as i know he didn't know my savior and 3) i didn't get to say everything i would have wanted to him and i'm sure he'd have more to say to me. (i have no answers for the 3rd and 4th parts to this question)
5. what was the last bad meal you (or your special someone) paid too much for? what's the story there?
my special someone and i spend too much on any meal we don't make ourselves. we're both better cooks than most restaurants' and we like cooking more than spending the money.
6. if out-of-the-blue you were forced to find a new career, if there was just suddenly no need for your field of expertise, just what job do you imagine you would seek out? do you have any skills you can "fall back on?" (if you stay at home or are a student, adjust to fit your situation)
this question hits a little too close to home right now. i don't want to think/talk about it. (sometimes a blog is just not the place for things)
7. if you were to open up your own restaurant, what would it be called and what type of food would you serve? describe the "feel" of the place (the decor, the music, etc).
now this is something i have thought a lot about. i'm not sure about specifics, but i think that the menu would be pretty changeable with some weekly specials and themes. the 'feel' of the place would be intimate and, hopefully, i could open it in a tropical paradise, so the atmosphere would be breezy.
