it's just pissing down. i love that phrase "pissing down," and it is. a real gully-washer. yes, the proverbial cats and dogs are coming down in buckets.
so,here i am in the rain-plain (well, there isn't a forest for miles) that is the greater cowlands, and it's pouring right now. the television weatherpeople have said all summer long that we are actually behind on our quota for precipitation this year, but who would know that? last month there were 19 days of rain. that's more than half of july under water.
i hate being forced into the walk-in-freezer environment of the coffeeshop itself, rather than waiting out the rain, but the awnings out front can't handle the deluge presently. and i'm not ready to leave yet. so, now i'm frickin' cold.
