juicy bits

welcome to 2007! - and this time i mean it

a little last of 2006 recap:

• i have been teaching e.s.l. at the local community college since september. i like it. (still no corduroy blazer with elbow patches)
• another year past and i'm still not married and i have, yet again, no girlfriend (and apparently, one less friend who's a girl - "i can't be your friend... it hurts too much.") and no prospects, which actually is okay.
• i'm still not a lawyer.
• i have not yet killed my roommate, although the thought has crossed my mind many times and puddles of urine this past year.
• i'm still in massive debt to the gub'ment, friends and not-so-friends.
• but on the bright side, i'm still not a lawyer.

so, yeah, this new year i plan to:

• continue being a cool e.s.l. instructor (still trying to find the right corduroy blazer with elbow patches);
• find a better paying job so that i can pay off the massive debt;
• eat better;
• exercise;
• pray more;
• get a new printer (hey, everybody needs one attainable goal);
• be at peace with my singleness;
• and still not be a lawyer.

...and this time i mean it.

(p.s. if anyone wants an attractive, albeit leaky, roommate in his late prime, i'm taking applications.)
